Description
TOP 43 / SOLIDO 2 TRANSKIT 1:43 FORD MKIV - LE MANS 1967 boxed Range bought out as a Limited Edition by Solido using Graphiland Transkit transfers and parts not included on the standard item. This is the Foyt, Dan Gurney car, Solido even put in the roof bulge that allowed Dan Gurney, who is tall, to co-drive the car to victory in the 67 Le Mans 24 hour race. You will see some vry expensive models of this car without the correct roof detail. These were sold as transkits for the buyer to put together and this one has survived 30 years unmade and in very nice condition, not too easy to get hold of. The paint is fresh and bright, almost mint. The parts are still in the pack they came in - wheel trims etc and the perspex headlamps and engine cover. Please note that I think there should be 4 tail red lights in the pack and I can only see one. The always missing wing mirror is in the pack. Decals by Graphiland are present with paper protector. The box is good, some very slight wear so please enlarge pictures, all flaps attached. Scarce item unmade for a collection or make it up, you will have a lovely model.
