Description
This round Mason's ironstone dinner plate features a deep cobalt background adorned with gilt designs, vivid green borders, and leaf-shaped vignettes of birds and floral branches. Marked with a black printed mark. Circa 1850s-60s. Approximately 10 inches in diameter. In good condition, with minor gilt and glazing wear as shown in the pictures taken of all six plates. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs, although some crazing is present due to age. One plate has a small flaw on the rim.
